More importantly, I’m glad you took the time you needed to reset (even partially) and figure things out. I hope you’ll find a balanced pace that feels right for you while continuing to share your insights.
Let me be (yet) another person to congratulate you on coming back :D
Looking at the previous comments, you have been missed.
It's nice that you are bringing more balance to your life.
I also like that you are slowing down and focusing on quality, not quantity. This folds true for your life and for your Substack. I, at least find it better than recycling the basically same Notes and posts over and over in order to satisfy the algorithm.
Thanks! It's really nice to see familiar faces when coming back. And you're absolutely right. Being true to self is better than chasing that algorithm!
Welcome back Adler! Thanks for sharing such an honest account of what you went through, and how you grew out of it. I’ve felt the same, and I’m sure many of us here feel the same too.
It's so easy these days to (involuntarily) convert every fun thing into a life hustle! While it has its perks, I totally understand how it can lead to burnout very quickly.
Glad to read you again and to see you are working on strategies that work better for you!
Welcome back Adler, was wondering where you went! Good to see you're finding a sustainable way for yourself. I can vouch for the verbal brainstorming, that's how I prep for all of my articles. Makes it really enjoyable, low friction and actually just more like a therapy session or podcast interview, albeit just messy free flowing thoughts 😂
Adler, welcome back!

Thanks! I did have a good rest :) Let me know when you're in Tokyo next time!
Glad to have you back! I'm on the same boat and just now coming back here in Substack
Thanks! Good to see you again!
